Britney Gets In Accident!!!

Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Britney Spears was involved in some kind of car accident on Saturday night.

Update:

We're told Spears pulled into the fire station on Coldwater Canyon and Ventura after getting into an accident on the highway some time around 9:00 P.M.

No one was seriously hurt. Thankfully.

Update #2:

The other driver in the car Spears was involved in the accident with is "making a big deal," we're told.

Tons of cops are on the scene.

Update #3:

Sources also tell PerezHilton.com that police gave Britney a breathalyzer test. The paramedics also came to the fire station.

You're right Mary K, it was a fender bender, no one went to the fire station. It was on the news & it was Brit's Bodyguard was Was driving, NOT Brit. The car behind them hit them slightly, making their car bump the car in front of them then that car slightly bump the car. NO one got a ticket because like you said, it was stop n' go traffic, minor & hardly any scratches on the cars. This whole story on this site & other tabloid sites making it a big deal & that Brit caused the whole problem, when in fact she was NOT the one driving (per the news on TV this morning).

it's sad to think that i used to jump up and down when her songs used to come on the radio (the old britney songs, not the new ones). i almost DIED when i found out she had a concert here in Miami (the tour for her second album) and to think someone i looked up to so much is trying to get their life together for going down all the wrong roads. just know, if she does come back, i'll be a fan of course, but not her number 1. she lost a lot of number 1 fans when she put herself through everything she went through because you can't really blame it on anyone but herself. i hope she gets better. i really did love her!

First, for all of you who think she's recovered, you're idiots. She's still a mess and will be as long as her parents have a hand in her pocket. Secondly, she got in the accident because she was applying makeup. Even after the crash, instead of seeing if anyone was hurt, she finished applying makeup. That's how big of a deal it was to her! Cops gave her a breathlizer test bc they couldn't forsee what other reason someone could have had the accident since it was bumper to bumper traffic. Then, they saw it was Britney and we like of, course only idiot Britney would have such a stupid accident. Yes, everyone gets in minor accidents. I hope more people show more responsibility and caution when operating a vehicle than Ms. Spears. She should let her bodyguards drive; she should NEVER be allowed to operate a vehicle, especially since she lacks absolutely no capability or mental capacity to handle such a responsiblity!!
