In a similar article in Saturday's L.A. Times about how Les received a 28% increase in salary, despite the tough times. Julie Chen needs to buy more diamonds?

Time to drink my morning coffee. Les spoke at my college graduation and he seems like a great guy. He took a chance on approving "Survivor" and "Big Brother" and turned the company around. Now it's time for him to step up once again and do something fresh. Or be like FOX and greenlight shows that don't require thinking. Anyway, I wish Katie all the best and I think everyone wants to see her succeed. I think she should replace whatever correspondent dies next on "60 Minutes".

Their show line-up / schedule is worse than abysmal, they really have milked the csi vehicle for all it's worth, the public are tiring of boring elaborately morbid cop dramas. serves them right really for being unimaginative intellectually and creatively.
ABC on the other hand seem to be leading the way with innovative diversely themed shows!
That's karma coming back to haunt them from firing Dan Rather after he gave them over 40 years of service at CBS. What do they do, side with the Bush adminstration on his national guard record. Shameful! They are getting what they deserve.
Looks like Moonves and a lot of bad decisions are another part of the reason the network is failing. Hiring Katie Couric was another bad decision. Maybe it's time for this moron to stop down before CBS is totally in the crapper.. jerk!
Les Moonves sucks 'cuz he canceled my favorite show ROSWELL on UPN in 2001! I'm still very bitter.
It's not her fault. It's the fault of the retard that offered to pay her so much to come in and stink the place up. I think $15 million a year could go reeeeally far toward paying for real reporters and other essential costs rather than padding this troll's bank account some more. People are losing their jobs because of her greed and ineffectiveness. Maybe she'll take them all out and buy them a round of Kool-Aid to console them. Nah, that'd be too expensive for Katie. Cheap slag.
BTW, on the previous Dan rather comment — that is a joke! Dan Rather should have been fired 20 years ago! He absolutely sucked and he dragged CBS news down for the entire time he was on the air! I really never understood why they kept him so long. He was unwatchable. Their mistake was in keeping him as long as they did and he is arrogant enough to sue them? What an A-hole.
