      I LOVE Dolly. Her roots are real and her feelings are genuine, but this video and the message aren't working for me. Dolly, who has always been honest about working at lookin' good, wigs and all (AHEM!), is juxtaposing her angelic, plastic surgified self with on-the-street ordinary people and the 'down and out' who are depicted in black and white. Did Jesus lift her up with grace and honesty or was that her plastic surgeons and stylists? Are those people in black and white, the REAL folks, meant to be the Gravity, 'bringing her back down'?

      Dolly is awesome and takes up a HUGE chunk on my iPod. Seriously though, this ain't workin' for me……

      I have always liked the woman. Very dignified and gracious while filming Steel Magnolias in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She has always been very campy, and joked about herself. Any woman that can say "It takes a whole lot of money to look this cheap"—has got my love.
      But she's not on my iPod. Classical only. Well, and a little Edith Piaf.

      She did this on American Idol. Lost the audience, and Simon looked perturbed. I don't blame him. Wasn't one of her most stellar performances.
      I will say her body of work, and what she's done in the industry is amazing.

      Love the tune but don't care much for the lyrics, religion never was and never will be my thing but Dolly is one of the greatest hotties of the world. At age 62 she still looks better than a lot of those so-called supermodels.
