How is this any different than pagent mothers that force their little girls to compete and perform at such a young tender age? that was adorable! i wish more fathers would be so active in their children's lives like this. it's obviously something they both enjoy a lot and its great to see that the kid has talent at it too. i hope that inspires people to teach their kids something, they'll appreciate it forever. thanks for the link perez!

When he's 3, he rarely wears his helmet let alone any other protective gear. Irresponsible parent. The bones in that 3-4 year old's head havent' even fully fused together. Way to expose your kid to brain damage at an early age. I'll then be the one working with your kid trying to get back any speech, language, memory, cognitive abilities… It's not fun teaching a 10 year old how to say their name… Talk to a parent with a BRAIN DAMAGED child. See what they have to see.

Sounds to me that you might want to try a new profession! That was super cute!!! Kids get hurt. Do you know what a risk it is getting into a car everyday?? Think about it. Watching a dad spend time with his kid is great. Sad that it's a weird thing to see, but great non the less. As for your response to my earlier past: If a "grudge against the world" includes being pissed at parents who don't have their INFANTS wear helmets while riding a skateboard… well then count me in! I love my profession and look forward to working with utterly amazing kids who surpirse me everyday. It's just sad when many of their injuries can be easily prevented if their parents took the time to think.

As far as the stats on car accidents, I would hope that parents will also buckle their kids seat belts… According to your name, it looks like you do have your kids wear helmets - good for you… Even though car accidents happen everyday, let's hope you buckle their seatbelts too just in case… Having an infant wear a helmet during a sport like skateboarding is just as important, Right? Maybe you disagree?

Peggy are you kidding me? Kiddie pagents are not the same as this. This father wants to share his love of skateboarding with his kid. Kids DO ride skateboards, it's not an adult sport! The women put their daughters in beauty pagents are having them wear makeup, have their hair all poofed up, pose suggestively, etc. sexualizing these little girls… so NOT the same. Little girls arent supposed to be wearing fake lashes and mascara to get a crown!

How cool it that!!!! My 15 year old is a skate boarder. His dad could care less what he does. Hasn't seen him in 3 years. I love to see this dad working so closely with his little boy.
