Ashlee Denies Pregnancy As Well!

Celebrities have been known to lie about baby news before, especially if the story breaks early on in a pregnancy. Superstitions and all that jazz, ya know.
On Monday, news broke that Ashlee Simpson is expecting her first child with boyfriend turned recent fiancee Pete Wentz.
Within hours, though, the Fall Out Boy bassist was denying those reports.
Now, Ashlee herself is weighing in on the baby blabber.
Taping an episode of TRL, to air Thursday on MTV, Simpson denied that she is pregnant, sources tell PerezHilton.com.
"She said that the rumors have been going around for about a year now and if she was pregnant she shoulda had the baby by now," a source at the taping tells us.
And there you have it….for now.
Only time (and a bump) will tell!

FYI Perez, people don't tell early on not because of "superstitions and all that jazz;" they wait because the incidence of miscarriage in the first trimester is extraordinarily high. 25% of pregnancies will end in a miscarriage, so it is an incredibly personal thing. They don't announce the pregnancy because they don't want to have to publicly deal with the miscarriage. Get a clue.

Fall Out Boy are all nice people and a good band. I've met Pete a few times and he's actually a lovely person and cares for his fans. I don't care for Ashlee's music, but I've met her, too and she was cool. I don't like all these rumours and I think that if she really IS pregnant, then it is totally irresponsible of them both and I doubt their parents are happy to have a kid conceived out of wedlock. Pete's family are very conservative and his dad is a successful Chicago lawyer. I think that having the Simpson as in-laws would give anyone a heart attack. Good luck to them all.
