      hey guys

      magazines are on the decline because of sites like these. Whats the point of buying a magazine when you can surf the web for free and still get your celeb gossip?

      I am trying to avoid magazines anyway myself…they are full of thin people who i aspire to look like and i know its not healthy. I eat fruit in the day and make sure i do at least 1hr of exercise a eve min.

      I hate going out as have to eat food i don't want too. My twin is 8 stone and has just recently put weight on and i want to get as skinny as her. We went shopping and she tried on a dress and although it was falling off her i thought she looked amazing and i know in my head that that is a fucked up way to think. i really do think magazines, t.v have triggered the way i think now. Thin is in and always has been. No one wants to be fat.

      As long as we have web sites like yours, we'd rather spend our money on gas then buy a magazine. It should actualy feel very flattering for you.

      it must be just in the US this is a problem cos in ireland people buy shitloads of newspapers and magazines and i imagine it's the same in the UK. i work in a bookshop that also sells newspapers and magazines and i reckon they bring in most of our profits! people just love magazines and newspapers in spite of their astronomical price!

      good—save the trees!!! most people only read a small fraction of the newspaper and throw the rest away!!! it boggled my mind for years to think where all of that paper went afterwards, not everyone recycles and even recycling uses up energy!

      These magazines aren't that good plus one has to take into account a slowdown in the economy. Original content and good writers make all the difference in the world. I read Perez because this industry requires that you report the news on celebs really really fast but I also have an interest in gardens and golf, and some of those magazines are really really good. There's no need for them to be online. That wouldn't even help them because the profits aren't there. Plus I like the glossy feel of those mags.

      No, it's because a 300 page magazine contains 290 pages of ads and 10 pages of actual articles. Why would you pay money so some company can MAKE money? It's like buying a $30 t-shirt with only the word "NIKE" on it. You are paying to advertise for the company.
