Suicide Notes Discovered

The inquest into the death of British television personality Mark Speight has discovered that he had left two suicide notes.

Speight was apparently carrying one in a pocket and left another at an apartment.

The contents of the notes have not been made public (yet).

The police are not treating his death as suspicious. Speight was found hung in Paddington station in London this past Sunday, after having disappeared for almost a week.

Very sad.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

      Firstly, Perez, Thank you sooooooooooo much for posting some UK news. Some American readers may not like it, but the UK love you just as much and it's good to know that you like to keep up with the UK news as well.

      Secondly, I am soooooooo sad about this story! I remember watching Mark on TV when I was little (and having a small crush on him) and it's just so so strange to think that he is dead, it's like losing a memoy of my childhood.

      Didn't this guy possibly kill his girlfriend in January or something? I thought I read that he was arrested and later released… but recently the forensic examiner ruled the girlfriends death a homicide and they ordered a warrant for him and he then disappeared and was found dead last week.

      If he killed his girlfriend then who the fuck cares if he hung himself. He deserved it.

      this guy was a really nice guy. he used to work out at the same gym as me in the 90s just when he was getting started on tv. he was very friendly to everyone. It was quite a gay gym and he mixed and chatted with everyone.

      I have never heard of Mark or his girlfriend until Perez posted about it, and I don't know why but my heart is breaking. This is such a sad story, I have read so much on it the past couple of days. Mark must have been in so much pain over losing his girlfriend how can you get over someone you love dying that tragically? I truly hope that mark and Natasha are together again. RIP both of you.

      RE:Klipper - before you judge people, you should really have the facts. His Girlfriend died after passing out from using drugs and was found the next day in the bath with 60% burns frm the running hot water. Could you imagine if you had found someone you loved like that? I imagine he was tormented by this image, and probably blamed himself. A warrant wasn't out for his arrest.

      Sad indeed, i work in the building in Paddington station where he was found. all last week he was hanging above us in the roof and we never knew!! Its a real sad story and now im scared he is gonna haunt my building!! :-(

      He was on the roof, and from what I hear (I live in Finchley, across the city) and from what I hear that building, or at least the roof isn't used very often. Despite what Perez has up, he wasn't found "in" Paddington station, but on the roof of the building next to it.
