Do hetero dudes care about the love lives of their sports heroes???

2008 Superbowl MVP Eli Manning will marry his college sweetheart, that chick above, in Mexico this coming weekend, according to a family friend.

It will be a super caliente but intimate celebration!

The rumored wedding site, the One & Only resort, is located on the picturesque Baja California peninsula, where the Pacific Ocean merges with the Sea of Cortez. The HOtel is a fave of Jennifer Aniston's.

Luxury suites reportedly run up to $2,600 a night, and the resort offers a wedding package that includes a horse-drawn carriage ride to a rustic chapel.

Horse-drawn carriage? Cheesy but also kinda sweet!

Eli's MVP winning brother, Peyton will of course be there the insider says!

For example, Tom Brady dumps Bridgette for Giesele. Derek Jeter hooks up with Mariah Carey, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, a Miss Universe and all of NYC. Romo bangs Jessica (though he eventually must dump her). They can only marry if the wife to be is an actress, a model, or a playmate, and only at the end of their career. Marrying a college sweat-heart only makes them shake their head with disbelief as the one of the major benefits of being an athelet is all the women who throw themselves on you.

      Actually, there are many of us men who think a sports hero is someone who stays with his family, raises them, does for the community. The Mannings were raised by a very down to earth father. They were sent to the best academic highshcool in new orleans, with the worst football team. Newman, a jewish high school. Not very sports oriented.

      It used to be sports heros were heroos at home and on the field. And many still are, they just do not make the papers. That is not newsworthy.

      So I am not in that category. I like my sports heros to be regular joes.

      And for the record. You do not have to be famous, or good looking to have women thrown themselves at you. Polite, well dressed, and being charismatic do it for most women.

      I would rather score on my personality, than my fame.
