Debbie Downer Scores Work!

Score one for the underdog!

We mentioned a few weeks ago that things were a bit shitty for Saturday Night Live alum Rachael Dratch — she was crying about how she wasn't booking any work.

Well, New York Magazine is reporting that things are on the up and up for Dratch!

She's been cast in a play called Scramble at the Westport Playhouse, the theater famously revived by Hollywood royalty Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward.

Dratch will also be in LA soon to film a pilot.

AND, The Craig Ferguson show has asked her to be on the show again.

Aww, that 'ask and ye shall receive' mumbo jumbo actually came true for Dratch!

P.S. Our offer to make a cute little video together still stands.

We'll even buy her a Happy Meal!

    This was a big Lie from the very begining when you posted that she was'nt getting any work.When I read your original posting I typed in her name on google.com and the letters IMDB. On the IMDB website it tells what current movies or tv shows the actor or actress is in.In her case she had about 5 or 6 shows she was currently filming or were in pre production.She is'nt hurting for work.How did this stupid rumor get started anyway?
    It says at the IMDB website rachel is currently in pre-production in a movie called "ODD BRODSKY" and is currently filming a film called "SWEET FLAME" and is in Post-Production in a movie called "SPRING BREAKDOWN" and is in post-production in a movie called "MY LIFE IN RUINS" and a film called "LOVE N' DANCING" and she just completed a movie called "HAROLD".
    Oh yeah she needs work.NOT ! How did this stupid rumer ever get started??!!!
