    Emilio Carballido a great theater writter, was one of the first ones to get marry with his partner of 25 years.

    One thing you may not realize is that marraige automatically grants you many legal rights as a couple. For example, if you are not legally married and try to leave your house to your gay parnter, they get hit with a HUGE inheritance tax…usully close to 50% of the value. If you are legally married, they get the house without the tax. That is just one of hundreds of legal benefits to a legal marraige.
