OK, have YOU been to her concert? no, you haven't! so you can't trash something youve never experienced! the criticts know shit! i went to her concert and i loved it! it was awesome! the fucking reason why shes getting trash reviews is because they send some fucking 40 yr old guy to an AVRIL concert. THT ISNT her audience! Try going to one of her tour stops and THEN judging her. Thanks to you, I was majorly dreading her concert a couple weeks ago. I tried to forget about it, pretend it wasn't happening, hoping I hadn't wasted my money on it. I was so unenthusiastic, but I went nonetheless, and it was AWESOME. I don't even LIKE Avril Lavigne. But I had a great time and she performed a great show.

I just got back from the Atlanta show. I was never a fan, but after tonight, I am. She did great, it was a terrific performance and she really empowered the girls in the audience. I would certainly go to another one of her shows. And she seemed to be quite genuine…completely the opposite of what I've read of your opinion of her. Not that anything you spew is worth anything.

well. it's not so negative about her. honestly , i think she will go like britney.i'm not saying she will shave her head .some people who have talent (no doubt avril has . she's not madonna but she has) are "falling" like that . reaching a level of success they become more arogant and they think only about themselves . i dont agree that most celebs are as arogant as avril is . The gambit has not resulted in stellar sales relative to the arena itself, which can easily seat 12,000 under a typical stage setup. There were still plenty of tickets available as of early Thursday afternoon for tonight's concert both on the general admission floor and in the lower level reserved area not far from the stage. Ticketmaster even is offering a special "four for $99" deal on its Web site.

Another sign of slow demand: Ticket broker Stubhub.com had only four Lavigne seats for sale Thursday vs. several hundred for the sold-out Bon Jovi concert April 30 at Philips.

Lavigne, 23, has been a consistent hit-maker on top-40 radio for seven years thanks to three hit albums and seven top-40 singles including "Complicated," "I'm With You" and her biggest hit to date, last year's propulsive "Girlfriend." But obviously, her repertoire isn't as deep as upcoming Philips Arena headliners such as Bon Jovi or Bruce Springsteen.

"She's moving from angry young girl to angry young woman. She got married, too. That can take the edge off the anger or give you a whole new batch of 'I hate you' songs."

Pollstar, which tracks gross revenues for concert dates, relies on the voluntary release of information from tour promoters and has yet to receive any Lavigne data from her U.S. dates so far. (Her U.S. arena tour started March 21 in Chicago.)

So I realize there are more negative comments then good about Poor Avril.
So in her defense, I know around 10 people who went to her concert in Toronto and they all had nothing but AWESOME things to say.
Although I never witnessed it myself, I think Avril still had her good share of die hard fans……. just maybe not enough!?…. she needs a publicity stunt..and soon!
