During This Painful Time…
Let's do our part to help Cameron Diaz cope with the sudden and tragic death of her father, Emilio, from pneumonia this past week.
In lieu of flowers, the Diaz Family has suggested donations to The Surfrider Foundation or Reef Check in Emilio's name.
Perez has just donated to both, and we encourage you to do the same!

You guys are retarded
Cameron and her family are not ASKING for donations!! They're just saying that instead of sending flowers (because they would get hundreds of deliveries), they're asking you to donate the $70 you would have spent on them to the charity. Not that fucking weird. People do it all the time, not just celebrities
I'm embarassed for some of you. Especially for the ones saying 'What about my dad? Or my Aunt? Who will help them?' This is a CELEBRITY BLOG!!!! Unless your Aunt is fucking Diana Ross, don't expect any donations!
i love you perez you just always seem
to do the right thing.
I feel so bad for her to loose someone precious in her life
Re: Nick – You shouldn't. because your a heartless piece of shit. Sure people die every day but we don't know about it. What are we supposed to do about stuff we had no idea about? spread the word if you want something done about someone you lost.
how much did she donate?
kudos to her.
i live in newport beach, and ive seen firsthand what wonderful things the surfrider foundation does.
PS i think its awesome perez uses his media power to attract attention to good causes. good work
I think it's great that they suggested these two organizations. As a member of the Surfrider Foundation, it is really nice to know that their family brought up this particular organization. And for all of those who are saying how they will choose their own charity, etc, look at what Surfrider does, supports, and stands for. Surfrider Foundation isn't a charity, it's an organization that works to better things along the coast (mainly) for locals and anyone who cares about going to the beaches. Thanks Perez!
Perez, you're a tosser.
I'm sure that statement was meant for close family and friends, not the general public. Why would they ask members of the public to donate cash?
Two very worthy organizations. Nice.
