Zacquisha's Heart Of Gold

13-year old Connor Steventon saldy died last month after a 2 year battle with a rare form of cancer that affects the soft cells, muscles and fat. Connor's courage throughout his illness inspired many and a call for help to pay for treatment raised thousands.

Zac Efron was one of those moved by Connor's fight. Zac took time off from filming on a local set in the Isle of Man to surprise Connor for his 13th birthday, just a few weeks before his death.

Sad. But very sweet of Zac to give of his time to cheer the sick teen up.

Connor's legacy will live on through Connor's Causes — a soon to be established charity that will reallocate the remaining money that Connor's supporters valiantly raised to assist others in need.

Get out there and donate your time or your Starbuck's money for the week towards a local cause or neighbor in need! HERE is a good list to choose from.

      Thanks for posting this story. Nice to see something positive regarding young Hollywood actors. I hope a lot of young actors and actresses follow suit. This is really sad but I bet that kid forgot about his cancer that day and just enjoyed…

      Really! is there any need for negative comments on this story?? It's about a child who died of cancer not somewhere for you too slate perez or ask if the kid came out of the closet..thats right make fun of a dead child. Nice. The Isle of Man is a VERY small place so as you can expect a child dying of cancer and getting visited by a celebirty does not happen very often which is why it's made news there. It's here because the site is publising some good by someone in the spotlight and telling us somewhere we can donate to a cancer charity. If you knew anything about this you would know he was a high school musical fan so meant alot to him on his last birthday.

      Re: Deak – The whole cast of Hsm/Hsm2 meet kids from St. Judes(sp?) during the summer when they filemd HSM2 there was like 20 or 30 kids and all of them were so happy to meet them all.

      Zac is a great guy. Im sure there are parnets of kids with cancer who are trying to get their kid to meet him or other celebs. Its hard because they dont know who is telling the truth.

      Anyway God Bless Conner and his family. A family memeber of mine died back in Jan and prayers and such do help your days go by. Zac keep rockin!
