Dannii Minogue just performed live for one of the first times ever her cover of fellow Australian icon Olivia Newton John's Xanadu on Oz TV show It Takes Two.

She even had backup dancers on rollerskates!!!!

    Dannii (what's with the two n's and i's, in her name, anyway) is flat on several notes, and her version sorely lacks the emotional swell of Olivia Newton John's version. I'm happy, however, that Newton-John might receive residuals from this.

    Now THIS was a place for lip syncing if there ever was one. She went so far off key is so many places, and all that moving about and being lifted couldn't help her cause. She's got the same annoying voice as her sister (I'm assuming they're sisters…they look so much alike)…Olivia has nothing to worry about…this broad has very a little voice and even less talent…kind of like you, fatty!

    I recently saw Olivia do this at Mardi Gras and apart from the dancers it wasn't that great still she doesn't have anything to worry about Danni is worse and yet she is usually so reliable. Maybe she was exhausted after her charity walk, which since it was for breast cancer where was Kylie????? Good on Olivia and Danni

    Olivia was born in Cambridge, England, which i believe is technically in Wales. So she's British-born (Britain being England-Scotland-Wales), but one could call her Welsh too !!!

    She at least is not nasal like her godawful sister ,and unlike said sister she at least has a personality.Still hate her music though and her sister's. It should come with a warning that she and sister are "Gays Only" , so do not enter.

    By the way Perez, if you have not seen Xanadu on Broadway yet, you MUST. It is the BEST thing EVER…and get onstage seats (they're cheaper & you get to be part of the show!!).
