Well, it turns out that Carey and McGregor were 'doing research' for their new movie, I Love You Phillip Morris, shooting in the MIA.
The film is based on the true story of a Texan convict who fell in love with his cell mate.

Oooh - old news. I had it on my blog this morning because I was there. So was Rodrigo Santoro, by the way. He and Jim got there around 9:15. Halo sent them a bottle of champers. An hour later, the hotness that is Ewan arrived. It was a party of eight. They all left together around midnight. Nobody really noticed them. I talked to Rodrigo, about Lost. He was pretty cool. Too bad the show underserved him.

What a daring choice of roles for both actors, especially Jim Carrey! I strongly suspect that the movie will suck royally anyway. But I hope I'm wrong. The story sounds really interesting, and I think it's safe to say that Hollywood has never done anything similar in the prison-movie genre. Also, I would really like to have sex with Ewen McGregor, so this should provide some good material for spanking-off.
