What's That Smell?

wenn1824075.jpg

We already know she sometimes doesn't like to shave her armpits.

Now, it's just been reported that Ms. Julia Roberts has a little secret….

She never wears deodorant!!!

Roberts says, "I don't like to share that with a large number of people, but it's just never been my thing."

She's not a fan of deodorant, sprays, or roll-ons it seems. Instead, she opts to use just soap and water to stay fresh.

She adds, "Sometimes, midday at work, I freshen up."

At least she stays clean, though we wouldn't want to get stuck in an elevator next to her!

What the fuck is wrong with this woman? Why would anyone in their RIGHT mind not wear deoderant? Does she think that she doesn't sweat or something? And truth be told, I have NEVER found her pretty. Although her character in the movie Pretty Woman was likeably, she most certainly was NOT pretty! Besides that, she has has a terrible figure. I think that her Oscar win for Erin Brocavich was a joke because all she did was run around in short and tight clothes. She is a man-stealing whore and is wayyyyyyyy overrated.

You shouldn't chastise her for that, it's actually not a bad thing. Deodorant isn't healthy, it prevents the body from expelling toxins and producing healthy amounts of pheromones and hormones. Deodorant is just a social norm that we're accustomed to (yeah, I wear it too) but it's okay to not wear it, lets just hope she doesn't have a lot of BO.

Actually, it's likely she smells less than people who do use deodorant. I regret the moment I decided to start using deodorant, I ended up sweating a lot more than before. Deo ruins the natural balance. Once you start, it's hard to go back.
I prefer freshly showered people over people who use a deodorant to cover up a sweaty smell. The combination of sweat and deodorant is icky.

If you shave your pits and bathe every day, you don't need deoderant. Deoderant is bad for you because it has aluminum which is believed to cause alzheimers. Just keep it clean.

      43

Not wearing deoderent isn't that bad- a lot of the chemicals in that stuff is awful for people, and has been linked to breast cancer in women. I wear as little of it as possible.

It is a proven fact that if you WEAR deodorant, you are more likely to smell. Sad but true. Those who don't, have a healthy PH balance and release toxins non-stop, while those who wear an anti-perspirants block toxins from exiting from the body. You should not put chemicals anywhere where you have hair growth (arm pits, scalp, genital area)…..you have hair there for a reason, your lymph nodes clean out toxins in those areas. So making fun of her for being health conscious is just ridiculous. Also, women should be aware; Deodorant contains deadly aluminum, and the blockage of toxins being released from the body are one of the top causes of breast cancer in women. Smart lady.

I don't wear deodorant and don't smell at all. I use something called the 'crystal' deo which neutralizes the smell of toxins, while still allowing your body to release them so I don't smell.

Some people think that deodorants/anti-persperants lead to some types of breast cancer because they clog the sweat glands which are actually suppose to rid the body of toxins. Get a clue Perez. Just because someone prefers not to use that crap to stay fresh does not mean they're gross or "lazy". EDUCATE YOURSELVES BEFORE YOU SPOUT OFF. You'll sound less ignorant.

    81. TN GIRL says – reply to this

      81

Re: Fo Realz – You are so right. There is no such thing as an organic deoderant that you can purchase. If you wish, use some organic cornstarch mixed with some organic baking soda (not baking power - it has aluminum in it) and just apply it dry or with some purified water and rub it off after it soaks in your skin. Otherwise, women "plug" their lymph nodes, which leads to cancer of the breast, or Alzheimer's. Men are also vulnerable as they can have breast cancer as well. Anything with aluminum in it accumulates in your brain over a life-time as makes you nutty as a bed-bug. Use an organic heavy-metal detoxifier. You can get one cheaply at www.swansonvitamins.com, but read every ingredient before you order.

to all you stanky people on here that disapprove of her not wearing deodorant, come sniff me, I don't wear it either and I don't stink! I used to wear anti-perspirant every day, and I would mildly sweat, with a little bit of a smell, but nothing unless you were all up in it!! then I was told how anti-perspirants actually have an ingredient that makes you sweat, so you continue to use it and use more. I switched to a deodorant, and within one week I noticed I wasn't sweating at all. if I wasn't sweating, there was no odor. so now I don't need anything. I do wear deodorant once in a while if I am going to be exercising around others, or for business meetings or something. but honestly, try it. it takes about a week to get your body back to normal. but you don't need all these carcinogens going into your body. not only do they not always work the way you think they do, they are polluting your body and our waters. then again, if you really do stink, please pollute our waters and not our noses!!

Re: Are You Kidding Me? – You are right. However, if a person can tolerate going without deoderant (just wash with regular soap, NOT ANTIBACTERIAL) like Ivory or the like, for about 2-3 weeks, that person will not need deoderant anymore. If one eats leafy green vegetables, all of which contain chlorophyll, a natural body deoderant and breath freshener, and no junk foods (grease, bad meat, etc.) one simply will not STINK!
