They end up at Loehmann's!
Victoria Beckham's jeans haven't been selling as well as desired.
The "designer" denim retails for $290 at boutiques such as Kitson in Los Angeles.
Now, all those jeans that haven't sold (and there's lots of them) have ended up at discount retailers, such as this Loehmann's in Reseda, California, where those some denim pants are going for $69.99.

NOTE TO CELEBRITIES! Stop with all of these clothing lines. You people don't even wear your clothes. You barely market them. And celebrity clothing lines are HOrrific. If you're going to be a make believe designer you've got to wear your clothes. You've also got to get other celebrities to wear your clothes. YOU MUST MARKET YOUR CLOTHES. Showing up at a store ONCE doesn't do it. Your clothes must look good and be reasonably priced. I don't like Beyonce's line but at least she wears her clothes. Jennifer Lopez's lined has improved dramatically but J. Lo NEVER wears her clothes. Baby Phat is horrific but at least Kimmora wears her line and talks about it incessantly. She's also zoned in on a particular market and aggressively gone after their dollars which makes a lot of cents! Most celebrities don't do that.

Does Posh Spice think people are that stupid. Why in the hell would I spend $250 or even $70 dollars on those jeans. I can go to Old Navy and pick up a pair of white jeans for $19.99 that fit great. I can also buy blue Star decals for $3-5 and sew them on. Voila I get the same thing for a hell of a lot cheaper. Posh Spice - do better!

Buy Levi's on sale for $28. Best quality, and they are real jeans without the overpriced hype from underpaid 3rd world labor.

Besides jeans are supposed to be casual/work wear/comfort clothes, not an investment.

For a long time overseas, Levis were considered an uber denim line. Levis devalued the quality of their line by having the product made overseas in sweatshops.
I think this is an unfair comment because many jeans company sell their overstock to places like loehmann's. I've been to the loehmann's (and filene's basement which is a similar store) in new york city and they sold seven jeans and j brand jeans which are competitors for victoria's merchandise, so she isn't the only one. I've even seen Marc Jacobs and Balenciaga bags there so many high end designers sell their out of season overstock to discount retailers. With that, I still wouldn't pay $275 for a pair of jeans no matter the brand.

Here in Argentina they're at least at 950 pesos (like 300 dollars)… and you can find some nice jeans from 90-250 pesos.

Honestly? I kid you not. Those jeans remind me of a pair of Wear Me's that my mom bought me when I was little and we were poor. I used to get made fun of every time I wore them and to this day (25 years post the Jordache, Gloria Vanderbilt and Sergio Valente era), every once and awhile I decide to not let my mom live that one down.

Jeans, like many things in life such as cosmetics, music, DVD's, razor blades etc, etc, are all part of a big marketing scam. They cost very little to produce and they mark that shit up like crazy to try and get rich from moron consumers. If Costco can sell nice fitting decent looking jeans for under $20 and make a profit think about how much jeans cost to manufacture.
Yes you can pay a little more for a designer label where they use nicer denim or better cuts or fancy details but $300 or more? There are suckers born every minute. I guess some people want a product that is more exclusive and I suppose you won't see that many people wearing the same $300 jeans when you out.
