Her "performance" was filled technical problems, and she wasn't feeling that!
Mimi's backing track was suffering some major glitches today. Her pre-recorded vocals started before she was ready and then kept repeating towards the beginning of Touch My Body.
Then, the SAME THING happened around the 3:00 minute mark and she sings "Stop singing my part now, baby!"
It's hilarious!
She's wearing sunglasses but we could tell….Mimi was pissed.
Her comments at the end of the song were just priceless.

Well the New York jury has just returned a "not guilty" verdict on the "2 black cops and a latino cop" who inadvertently killed the wrong black man, Sean Bell, in a police sting at a local raucous night club.

i think she had a technical prob with the backing vocals that help mariah with some of the fast moving parts that stress her voice out with the perfection of the sound she likes. It usually helps her take a breath before she hits a note or part of a run that is difficult. but that performance was live, and a little scary for her, since there are HATERS out there, mostly bloggers, who are looking for any mishap or piece of embarassing "news" to use in drawing attention to their website or mag. It was just her back up track with back up vocals that skipped. Leona Lewis was really singing on American Idol but had her own back up tracks of her singing. Everyone usually has back up tracks of the song playing while they're really singing.
