After 30 years in the music industry, singer Phil Collins is finally retiring at age 57.
Collins recently completed a reunion tour with his former band, Genesis.
Friday he announced he will no longer be releasing any more albums or going on tours.
The now retired Collins plans to take a break from music, but will continue to write songs on his free time.
As for his free time, Collins has said he'll be spending time working on his favorite hobby. What's that?
Collecting memorabilia from the Battle of the Alamo!

Collins says, "It's not that unusual for a man of my age who grew up reading [about] Davy Crockett."

THANK GOD! Some of his older stuff with Genesis was really good, along with that song from the movie "White Nights." Fact is, he's a much better drummer than singer, and it shows in his concerts. I saw him live in 1997, and I thought my ears were gonna bleed- he was AWFUL!!!!
