I would definately give to these children.
I have seen how terrible it is.
And they are some who are trying to make a difference but we need everyone's help.
People need to stop being selfish, and think of others for once.

I don't know if these worthwhile causes is your way of doing charitable work, but enough, okay? Most people are intelligent enough to decide who to donate to-I am sure a majority of readers have family members with some sort of disease that needs research. Alot of people are having a hard enough time putting food on their tables, let alone donate to charities. Please have more respect for your readers, that they don't need your help in deciding if and where they are going to donate. I also would like to know if you researched each charity to make sure donated funds are actually being used right-after 9/11 there were soooo many fake 'charities' getting rich on people's generousity.
Who gives a shit about orphans in south america or starving people in other countries when we have starving people and orphans in our own fucking country that need help.
Just because some of us like to read about the rich and famous, doesn't mean we have any money. Gas prices here in Indiana are $3.60 a gallon, milk is around $3.55 a Gal. And my husband has been laid off for almost six months from a truck driving job that mostly delivers to places building new schools or houses. If we had the extra money to donate, we sure as hell wouldn't give it to a country we don't live in!!

Get your facts straight before you open your mouth… it is the FAULT of your stupid American politicians/political leaders and international organizations (IMF and World Bank) that put these countries in the impoverishment that they face, helped them in their corruption and continue to keep them exploited… AMERICANS and ALL first world nations owe it to the developing worlds to help these poor because they helped them remain in their current state of destitution. not that there's anything wrong with that organization… but why don't we help the orphaned, homeless kids in THIS country, within OUR borders? I like your good causes Perez, but most of them are for other countries. What gives? There are plenty of people in this counrty that need help just as bad as those people over in Africa or Asia do. Just because you and I have somewhere warm to sleep at night, enough food to eat and clean water to drink doesn't mean that every American does.
What about the orphans here in the US that need help? What about the homeless children here? What about the children in the US that suffer on a daily basis because they have no medical care? We need to stop worrying about other countries poor children when we have too many of our own. We should clean up our own doorstep first. Then worry about little SAmerican children.

I love it that you are trying to help out the world, and I think it is a very noble way to use your influence over the masses that you preach to. But if you flood your site with a different cause everyday, the influence the your provide will become dim in the midst of a million different causes to donate to. You should provide due diligence to a cause and then represent it to people to donate their time and money to. A new one everyday is going to hurt all of these charities in the long run.

what about all the people collecting disability who are not disabled at all. people around my age (23) who are perfectly healthy are on disability, get food stamps, free health insurance, free housing … a waste of my fucking tax dollars. a guy my dad works with has a heart of which only 1/3 functions - he literally can't walk a foot without gasping for air, sweating, and turning blood red, yet the people running disability say he is perfectly capable of working, in a fucking distillery no less. and i know people on disability for depression, bi-polar disorder, alcoholism, drug addiction - WTF?! that's not a fucking disability!

I spent 13 months volunteering at NPH Honduras and it was an amazing experience. Every little bit helps. Gracious por su ayuda! I think it's GREAT that you're raising awareness for some much needed help.

I believe in donating to those in need defo, but I think we need to worry about the kids here in the u.s. who need homes and money first before we go out and start funding other countries problems.
