Personally, I think Lourdes looks cute, but everyone knows damn well it was Madonna's idea to make her wear the glasses. This is for two purposes: to "uglify" her a little so M is still seen as more attractive than her daughter, and to invite forced comparisons to her own early attempts to look "fashionably intellectual" by slapping on dark-rimmed glasses.
