ALWAYS wear your seatbelt. Even for a 5 minute ride. If not, you'll probably fly out of the vehicle or bounce around inside when it wrecks. Not a pretty sight.

That wreck was really no big deal by racing standards and certainly not by Talladega standards. Sucks to cut a tire down at 200mph, thank heavens for SAFER barriers.

yeah….when you strap in and get into a 3400lb machine with a finely tuned power plant on crappy goodyear tires, run a hair under 200mph on a 33 degree bank, and draft within inches of the cars around you, you can talk about how easy it is to drive in an oval and make left turns.
In fact, you don't even have to do it on a restrictor plate track. You can do it on some mamby-pampy 1.5 mile flat cookie cutter track. Then you can talk.
I realize this is all like a foreign language to you. So until you know what a restrictor plate even is, shut the fuck up.

if you have ever watched nascar, you know that wreck is NOTHING compared to other wrecks…infact there was a worse one either last week or the week before where the car flipped 5 or 6 times. and the guy came out unharmed. flippage like that hasn't happened in years b/c of all the new technology. and if it wasn't for the device that was pretty much made standard after dale sr. died in a wreck, that guy wouldn't have lived either.

The only way I'd care is if it crashed head first right into Tom Cruise killing him instantly as it flipped and rolled on to the grassy oval center of the track and landed on Oprah Winfrey, also killing her instantly. This wreck was nothing compared to what happened next….a driver came back onto the track from a dead stop and hit Carl Edwards (who was going almost 200 miles an hour), that was the wreck to show - that was dangerous. Carl could have been killed and the other 13 people in the crash could have been hurt.

Those replays were in slow motion compared to how fast the wreck unfolded and how hard he was hit in the driver's side. That was a pretty nasty wreck. His car had stopped all forward motion and then he got plowed in the driver's side by a car going race speed? Yeah, that is about as bad as a wreck can get.

Dario was injured. His left ankle is broken. He'll miss several months of racing although he said he was still fine to drive. Racers dont really NEED to use their left foot except for getting out of the car in the event of fire. Which is why he wasnt cleared to race. He had to be helped to the ambulance because he couldnt walk. Most of you say "this wreck isnt so bad". Obviously you know nothing about the Nationwide Series cars or the fact that the replay was in slow motion. They dont have the same foam padded wall as Cup cars. Therefore the idiot who was racing 6 SECONDS behind Dario smashed into the driver side at 160mph throwing his left foot into the side of the brake pedal. The crash never should have happened. The driver and his spotter are both to blame. I feel bad for Dario. He was finally getting a handle on these cars.

We own a speed boat and a lake house and I drive a 2008 Chevy Tahoe, which we paid cash for. My husband and I both have been nascar fans since we were children. We attend approx 2 to 3 races a year and never miss one on tv. So, please take your little small mind and close the door to your little apartment on your way to the unemployment line, if you have enough gas money to get you there.

'Very Psychotic' Madonna Stalker Escapes From Mental Hospital!

This is terrifying!

Very early this morning, the Los Angeles Police Department announced that 54-year-old Robert Dewey Hoskins, a man who was convicted of stalking and threatening Madonna, has escaped from a mental hospital in Norwalk, CA.

The LAPD are describing the man as follows:

"...A very psychotic man when not taking his medication and has very violent tendencies."

According to the LAPD, Hoskins served 10 years in prison for his actions against Madonna, and he was placed in the Norwalk mental hospital after "an additional run-in with police."

Stay safe, Madonna! We know the police are doing everything in their power to find this dangerous man!
