More 90210 (2.0) Casting News!

It's emerged that the chick who played Uncle Jessie's girlfriend in Full House, Lori Loughlin, will play the 'Carol Potter' role in the 90210 remake.

Thoughts?????????

Loughlin will play Celia Mills, an ex-Olympic athlete who relocates to Beverly Hills with her husband (BH High's new principal) and two children.

She's wayyyy hotter than Brenda and Brandon's mom by a mile!

I was standing in line with Laurie at the Grove and struck up a conversation with her and she couldn't have been more pleasant. We talked about her last show and how it was cancelled and what a bummer it was. I was a huge fan of 90210 and I'm thrilled to see her cast in the show.

I remember her from Full House when I was a kid. I always thought she was extremely pretty then, but she's gorgeous now. Wow. She looks better than ever. She seems like a really nice person as well from what I've seen of her in interviews and pap footage, so that makes her all the more attractive.

THIS SUCKS! she's one of those actresses who has zero chemistry w/ anyone. John Stamos was hot way back when on full house and sorry but there were no sparks between them at all. I liked her as a young actress but she never made that transition to adulthood for me. And with Shawn Christian in Summerland? No heat at all. I don't see how this is going to work but I'm pissed. I was so looking forward to this remake…

Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...

Maleficent!

At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!

Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!

She explains:

"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."

And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!

So, so cool!

Gurl is going to ROCK this! Don't U think?
