I had a breast biopsy last month, and thankfully it turned out to be a fibroadenoma, which is not cancerous. But to go through all of that was scary and stressfull and since I don't have health insurance it was expensive. Thanfully, they have financial assistance at city hospitals! I am 21, and I have to get checked annually now since it could get bigger and although it probably won't become cancerous, there is always the possibility….

Also, go to www.komen.org. I personally think it's a better place to donate. Nancy Brinker started the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation in memory of her sister, who died of breast cancer. She promised her dying sister she wouldn't stop until she found a cure for the disease, and the grass-roots organization is such a wonderful place.

Thanks so much Perez for adding Breast Cancer to your VERY IMPORTANT CAUSES on your site. I emailed you a couple weeks ago about our Chicago 2008 AVon Walk for Breast Cancer coming soon on May 31-June 01. For 2 days WE WALK AS ONE for 39 miles! My fundraising is currently at $7205.00 so I am very proud of me and very proud of you for helping get the word out.
p.s. I absolutely love little Teddi, so so so cute. Big kisses from me.

AWESOME LINK! My cousin was only 25 when first diagnosed with breast cancer. 21 years later - she is now in stage 4 breast cancer. Everyday is a blessing. Please pass this site to all your family and freinds. Remember - men get breast cancer too.
