And, in true Madonna style, she's already conquered a key area in the 'new' music business machine — digital sales.
Madge's 4 Minutes has become the second single ever to have digital sales exceeding one million units in five weeks. Rihanna's Umbrella was the first.
As of today, digital sales of 4 Minutes are l,004,482 units.

Perez….this album is much worse than the previous albums. It sounds generic. There's something about every single song that's annoying, if it's not some bad 80's rapper imitating the sound of a vinyl record scratching "Bricka-Bricka", then it's her doing a monotonous repeat of the song title.
It's not even that it's bad….it's just, bland.

Well good for her. Sometimes really awful albums get the sales they dont deserve. This album is so far great, although I cant judge the whole album as I havnt heard it all yet. So well done to Madonna! I couldnt give a crap if she was nearly 50 and I think your horrid if you do.

Not a big Madonna fan, but bought this CD cause of 4 minutes and holy shit this CD kicks ass. I can see it being huge.
OK the success of this awful song is solely due to Justin and Timbaland's current popularity. This song would be thrown under the bus without them on it. It's horrible.
