Sex And The City Snub

The new Sex and The City movie will not be premiering in "The City"!

The movie is set to premier in London's Leicester Square on May 12th., which is two weeks before its New York City release.

What gives????

A New Line spokesperson said, "London will be much smaller. It was simply a question of logistics and scheduling. The whole cast isn't even going."

Those not attending in London include Chris Noth (Mr. Big) and Jennifer Hudson.

Not like anyone would miss them though.

The rep adds, "We're still planning the big premiere to be in New York. Everyone knows New York City is the fifth character. The city is the epicenter of all things 'Sex and the City.' "

The New York premier is set for Tuesday, May 27th at the Radio City Music Hall. It will be followed by an after party at the Museum of Modern Art. The party will benefit Caroline Kennedy's "The Fund for Public Schools."

Damn, New Line is going out of business and they just don't have their shit together!

    Perez you can't be that ignorant about promotion. They have to have the normal premiere but now they get a second premiere 3 days before the release that will recieve a massive amount of publicity. It's actually brilliant.

You know those kids get the "ignore those other kids because they are ignorant" lecture. Big damn deal. Those kids are humiliated and ashamed (yes they are) but love their mother too much to bring it home. Kids get dragged into a lot of things. No one seems to care if they get the raw deal.
