April Lavigne "postponed" her San Diego concert tonight.
Perezious reader Jeff tells us that excessive partying could be the main reason why she can't play in San Diego this evening.
He shares with us:
"Avril and Boys Like Girls (Avril's support band) played here (in Vegas) last night at the Palms…yesterday afternoon (at a private performance before the big show) the lead singer of Boys Like Girls Martin Johnson said, "We (he & Avril) got so wasted last night in her suite." He told us how she (Avril) had a bowling alley in her suite and that they "went shot (alcohol) for shot all night long." Even at the show last night, in front of her very young audience, she claimed that she was "hung-over" from drinking so much the night before. I think that is one of the many reasons she bucked the San Diego show…"
So responsible. Promoting drinking to the tweens in the audience.

Update: The concert is now officially "Cancelled."
Guess the promoters didn't think it'd be worth it to reschedule!

i had backstage passes, so i knew everything that was going on. I remember she came late because she went to meet the spice girls or something…
anways, already late for her performance, she got ready in her trailer and came inside through the back door so some of the fans who won backstage passes or w.e, couldn't meet her.
Avril has absolutely no devotion to her fans, is a total bitch with a horrible voice and no talent. Also, she's ugly.

I am sure she drinks and parties like most superstar on tour, but funny that you mention BLG, cuz when she played in Kingston on april 8th of this year and after the show, i went for some drinks at a place called My Bar. Boys Lik Girls were there partying it up and Avril was no where in sight. I am not shy so I went up to the drummer and chatted for a minute letting them know of some better bars around town. I asked why vril wasn't there, he said, she rarely went out after a show that she was pretty low key on most days.
OMG, like, I just had some drinks and you guys are losers and you suck! Anyone who doesn't like me can eat it. I'm gonna go be a shit head princess now..BITCHES!

whatever i went to the avril show in dallas, and she was great, she sounded awesome, she had lots of fun on stage and was very cute. she has talent no matter what people say. you dont have to like her, but she is good.
oh and her very large venue in dallas was also VERY full.
