Our future husband, actor Van Hansis, has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy for his portrayal of Luke Snyder on As the World Turns.

Luke and Noah rule!

The crazy conservatives may have their panties in a bunch that there is a storyline involving an openly gay couple - that kiss! - on daytime TV, but it's nice to see that Emmy voters don't care.

Forget the hate. Appreciate!

We hope Van walks away with a statue!

i've been watchign ATWT since i was little, like 6. And honestly, i'm fine with luke being gay and all, but his character is HORRIBLY WRITTEN. in fact, the entire soap has gone downhill (NOT because of luke being gay by any means, just by shoddy story lines). the kid playing luke won't win because we really dont get to see him act, his character is written so bad!!

i can't say enough, yay for luke being gay and all, but the writers need to write a shit ton better!!
