Her beehive keeps the tabloid writers of the U.K. employed and happy!
Rumors are a circulating that Amy Winehouse will leave her current label after her next album so she can start up her own label.
Wino supposedly would go into the label thing with the guy she just dumped, Alex Haynes, who's 'gained music know-how' through being Amy's manager's assistant.
A source told the UK's Sun, "For the first time in her career, Amy is beginning to have her head turned by the cash she can make… It's never been a huge deal in the past, but she is beginning to realise everyone else is making all the money out of her success."
The source goes on to report that Wino would apparently like to sign her friends Remi Nicole and Tyler James and have control over her own finances.
Again this is just a rumor. (Smells like bullshit.)
But, should it actually happen, we think it's a disaster in the making!
Amy can't take care of herself…how can she oversee a business?

Amy seems more of an artist than a businesswoman so I doubt this is true but if it is more power to her. Most of the great artists did drugs, drank and were far from perfect angels and they made Amy look like a nun so why are we acting like she invented the drug problem? She never claimed she was a role model and let people know what she was about from the start so nobody should be surprised that she is not some perfect little princess. All that matters is that she make great music and so far on that front she has more than delivered and if she keeps delivering I will continue to buy her music. I challenge anybody here who points the finger at her to go through their cd collection and throw out all the artists who had drug problems and that includes Elvis. If the paps were up his butt 24/7 in his final years I bet they would have took some pictures even worse than Amy but back then the press had some respect for privacy unlike today when they will follow somebody into the bathroom if they could.

Re: Mike from NY – Well, it's hard to make music when you are dead and it's hard to sell music when you alienate your fanbase by canceling concerts or singing poorly. I've seen video of her years ago when she sounded great and recently when she was the shits. The drugs are taking her down. Think of all the great music we never got to hear from Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison who all died in their 20's and dozens of others. She's only put out 2 albums. Don't expect many more unless she cleans up.

I don't agree with what she is doing to herself but it does not stop me from enjoying her music. We don't remove Van Gogh from art galleries because he cut his ear off or Picasso because he was an asshole that abused women. We also celebrate the great music that Jimi Hendrix put out and we honored James Brown after his death despite the fact that he abused his wives and once led police on a chase so why should Amy be any different? I don't even think she is a bad person just a self destructive one. Her self destruction in no way takes away from the fact that for the most part the music she has released is great. Jessica Simpson and Many Moore seem like nice enough people who live good clean lives but I have no desire to ever but their music and Amy despite her many issues makes music that is worth my money. As far as her looks go I have seen her look great at times and hideous at others but she is a singer not a model.
Re: Paul – Ahh the youth of today unable to see one's "inner beauty" There is far more to a persons attractive qualities then just the physical one. I'm guessing you're young and unable to see what I see. Yes she's killing herself slowly (I've been there myself) BUT she is a grown adult and has the choice to self destruct if she wants to. I appreciate her talent and it breaks my heart to think this beautiful (YES-beautiful) young woman is making so many bad choices for herself, family and career. It will certainlly be a shame if we lose her like we have lost so many talented young people. Again I agree with Mike from NY that her natural, raw talent is amazing. I love the uniqueness she brings to the stage and there is no way you can diss. her talent no matter how you might feel about her overall physical appearance.
When she isn't all cracked out and she dresses up she is actually quite attractive. She looked great in the Back to Black video. The hard drugs just turn her into a different person that is not very attractive.
Re: Mike from NY – If u look at the picture montage of her (10 minutes +) from earlier in her career she is very feminine and has lovely skin. Her face is full, not gaunt like it is now and she is just a little heavier. Speaking from my own experience it's obvious the drugs are taking their toll. In the earlier pic's she always dressed in something feminine and has long sexy legs. I normally don't care for tatty's on a woman but she pulls it off and adds to her overall mystique. Dead or alive she WILL be a legend in her genre. She is neither "packaged" or trying to emulate other artists, Amy is Amy and one must appreciate her talent no matter what u "think" of her.
