      Thank you so much for putting this up. It's a wonderful organization in my local area. Those chimps have been through horrible atrocities and torture and deserve a place like Chimp Haven for refuge.

      What's up with the hate folks? Perez is just using his celebrity to help out some poor chimps. Good for you Perez! Keep it up! These chimps have been tortures and tested makeup on until they were blinded, etc, etc. They never did anything to deserve living in a cage all their lives and being captive to man' tortures. i'm so glad at least some of them are in a haven and can live out their lives in peace now, and know some GOOD and KIND humans. Fuck off haters!!!

      This is a FANTASTIC cause. These highly-intelligent animals, who are thought to have memory skills greater than human beings, are being medically tested, neglected, paraded around for entertainment, and unwanted as pets; they deserve to live in an environment where they have contact with chimpanzees in a safe environment. Thank you so much for using your readership to shed light on viable, much-needed charities. Oh and remember, money is not the only thing Chimp Haven needs. Clean out your linen closet and send them old blankets and towels. Chimps like beds as much as humans do. :o )

      Thank you Perez for finally putting up animal causes. For all of you assholes with the negative comments about animals causes, if you had half a brain in your heads you would be dangerous. These primates were tortured and experimented on and held in cages for many years. They did nothing to deserve that kind of treatment. You obviously have not compassion and no soul. And don't give me all your shit about how people cause are so much more important or how human life comes first, because when I read all your negative comments and see how heartless humans are, I all the more want to donate to save animals lives.

      Hey Perez. This is in my home town. I remember hearing that all of the Chimps get vasectomies when they enter the haven. Well, one of the girls got knocked up. So they had to do a massive DNA test to find the baby's daddy. I hope they checked the keepers too. We have some backwards people in that town.

      Thanks Perez for posting up this worthwhile site/cause. It's sad that people don't realize that chimps share over 98% of the same DNA as humans. They're highly intelligent, sociable primates who deserve so much more than being locked up in tiny, cramped cages to be poked, prodded or laughed at. And clearly they're smarter than some of the ignorant imbeciles who troll your site.

      I also recommend www.savethechimps.org which is another amazing chimpanzee sanctuary in FL. I always get family and friends to make a donation to Save The Chimps in lieu of birthday/christmas gifts.
