Industry insiders are projecting that the Robert Downey, Jr.-fronted comic book flick Iron Man will make at least $75 million this weekend.
That's pretty massive!
It's good to see that the talented Downey could be coming back in a big way.
Too bad Gwenyth's also in the movie!
Ladies — don't fear — the studios didn't forget about you this Iron Man weekend. The Patrick Dempsey pic Made of Honor is coming out on Friday too.

I work with kids all day, and they aren't interested in seeing this at all. If kids don't want to see it, then poof there goes the marketing, no sales of toys, t-shirts. This is not going to be spiderman or batman. I like RDJ, but I think he snorted his career away a long time ago. I hope he gets a little success, but he isn't even close to being as sexy as Patrick Dempsey.
I would rather sit through a dumb movie and drool, than watch Ironman.

I haven't been to the movies in about two months - nothing good has come out! Now that two good movies are coming out I'm going to see both!
I gotta say - my husband and I went to an advanced screening of Iron Man last night and it was awesome! It was entertaining start to finish - I'm going to see it again on the weekend it was so good.

Maybe sometime next week! I've got people in that game just begging to be mowed down! I just cannot fathom how massive and cool this game is! They're expecting the game to sell something like $400 M this 1st week and I can see why! Movies are cool, but getting lost in the seedy underbelly of this game is something that I will never forget, unlike most movies I usually forget about as I exit the theater!

Iron Man is Simply Amazing. Saw it in Atlanta's New Atlantic Station Theatre tuesday night at the paramount advanced screening, and it was probably one of the best movies I've seen in a long time…screw first….91!
