Diddy is getting a star today (Friday) on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Congrats!
Diddy does everything in over-the-top, high style and according to reports, he's making sure a big whoop-di-doo will be made out of this honor.
The man formerly know as Puffy says, "It's also like my coming-out party here in Hollywood. I don't have nothing to hide about that. If I'm going to come someplace, I'm going to make some noise, and you're going to know I'm here."
The streets of Hollywood will be teeming with Diddy superfans as he put a video online asking fans to show up for the star-unveiling, set to the tune of Lupe Fiasco's hit Superstar.
Also, family and friends from the block he grew up on in New York's Harlem neighborhood are set to join him at the ceremony.
Diddy is topping off this special day with an "intimate 250-person party" with "just very very close friends and family and people that I know throughout the industry" at Ron Burkle's mansion.

When asked about the fiesta's rumored $4 million cost, Diddy responds, "It's up there, but I can't confirm it's $4 million. It's priceless."
Ironically, when asked if he 'rewarded' himself with something for the star, Diddy answered, "We going through a recession right now, so I'm cutting back. Whatever I don't need, I'm just not buying it."

Too bad more young, black americans aren't able to emulate this man. He's living, walking proof that ANYONE can succed in America if u WANT to. I've never liked his music but he's used his brain to build an empire and is a role model for all races and age groups. One must respect his success no matter what. He has surrounded himself with positive, like thinking individuals and has made a point of LISTENING to those around him ie:suggestions/ideas/etc.
