Tricia Walsh-Smith, the bitter, soon-to-be-divorced socialite who took to making videos on YouTube to slam her powerful Broadway hubby, is auctioning off her wedding dress on eBay.
But, it's actually for a good cause!
All proceeds from the auction will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.
The gown was custom made by Yumi Katsura. Custom gowns by Katsura run upwards of $25,000.
The bitter socialite says, "At first I wanted to burn the dress for all my husband's put me through but if I can do some good with the bad fortune I've been dealt, then I will. Taking all of the attention focused on me and for a moment, shedding light on a worthy cause like the WWP to help wounded men and women in uniform is something I felt drawn to doing."
The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is honoring and empowering wounded warriors. The WWP seeks to assist those men and women of the American armed forces, who have been severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations around the world.

She's making the best of her current situation with this auction. Yes, it is keeping her in the public eye, which people may see as 'crazy'. Divorce can be very upsetting, and she's married to a powerful man that she feels she has to one-up somehow, because he can so easily shut her out. I think she feels humiliated by his lack of civility and relates to the idea of a 'wounded warrior', like the name of the charity. It's personal and people who laugh about the pre-nup are not acknowledging his callousness.
Whatever her deal is, at least she's donating to a great cause. My son is a wounded vet who was assisted by the Wounded Warrior Project, and now works with them. We know how beneficial this organization is.

Blaze, just because there is money involved, does not mean this isn't also about respect and civility. When the husband cheated on her, lied to her, put an eviction notice against her without grounds for divorce and (as was suggested in the 1st video) moved his bank accounts to his daughter's name, he was not behaving like a decent husband.
