Huh? A few summers ago i worked as a counselor at a camp outside of philadelphia. I had his youngest daughter, Heaven (or Vivi), in my group of 5 year olds. He was married, then separated because he was unfaithful, then got back together with the wife, then she ended up leaving him for her HS sweetheart. I think he is simply an attention whore who attempts to come off looking deep by saying things like this. A lot of men feel the way you do, Terence, and it's not your fault. Before the women's movement, women were normal, they played their part as dictated by nature, it was easy to fall in love with a women. Since the disaster that's been the women's movement, trainwrecks like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Noami Cambell, Pam Anderson, Britney Spears, Amy Winehouse, Sienna Miller, Foxy Brown, Alicia Keys, etc., etc. (I could go on all day) share the same planet as us and are even considered role models. You're right, Nikki…most people do get married for the wrong reasons. Yes, I've been with the same guy for twenty years, but we didn't get married UNTIL AFTER living together for ten. By that point, we KNEW we were in a solid relationship.
It saddens me to hear you say, "its about getting what you want and not giving other what they want…" That's the VERY opposite of what makes a relationship work. Initially, it might be a valid strategy to make the guy chase you, but in the long run, it's all about give and take.
Even today, there are still plenty of decent guys out there. The trick is to be selective, and have your priorities straight. Terrence may be very fine, but if I were single today, I'd be looking for Denzel.

Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...

Maleficent!

At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!

Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!

She explains:

"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."

And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!

So, so cool!
