      Okay, so apparently the mother didn't know about the prison, but what did she think happened to her daughter? Did she think she ran away? Kidnapped? Did she search for her? Did she forget she had a daughter? And then they adopted her kids, the father concocted the ruse that Elisabeth had left the babies on their doorstep. Was the ruse that it was their daughter or a stranger? If their daughter, did the mother wonder what's going on with her child, that she appears out of nowhere and leaves a present for them at the door but doesn't stay to say Hi? Ding dong, Merry Christmas, new grandchild.

      The people involved in this are not celebrities. They didn't ask for the lime light. Perezhilton is not a reliable sight for getting facts in a case like this. It is a gossip sight who should stick to featuring the stories of people who have put themselves in the situations we read about here. Don't get confused about what is gossip and what is the sad truth. I'm all for a laugh at a celebrity who's tits fell out of her dress or who had a snap shot taken while all hammered at a party. I can even justify logging on to read about someone's drug problem cause at the end of the day, they did it to themselves. I cannot however approve of the mention of a situation like this on a site like this. Perez, you are a disappointment.

      It's sooo weird. I live in Austria and many people talk about it at the moment. Last year the thing happended with the girl that was locked up in a cellar for 8 years and everyone thought she was dead and now the thing with that sick father happens…. He should be locked up forever….

      Whether or not the wife knew what her satanic husband was doing (which I doubt), she needs to be around to help her daughter and grandchildren, NOT stuck in jail somewhere.       The man was a tyrant, he created this maze in his basement and hid the opening to the dungeon behind a cabinet. The door to the dungeon was secured with a keyless electronic lock that needed a specific code to be opened. He sound proofed the room so even if the daughter and her children yelled they would never be heard. He had his wife and children under strict control where they were afraid of him and did not want to ask questions. Some people are conditioned to not question anything and to respect the man of the house. He snuck food to his daughter and children when his wife was out and told he he was working on "projects" in the basement and could not be disturbed. He wouldn't even let her bring him coffee, she was not allowed to disturb him while he "worked." Its such a shock that someone could do this to another person. He is truely a sick man and I hope he experiences the pain he put his poor daughter and her children through. My prayers go out to the family. If they do not have a donation site yet, they really should!

      Too bad the law can't make special exceptions for particularly sick criminals like this twisted monster. They should stick him in that dungeon where he can never stand up straight again (apparently the ceiling is like 5'4"ish), send some mean homo with a foot long dick to rape his ass several times a day, and occasionally stick a watermelon up his ass and let him pass it alone, hopefully bleeding.       first mandy, who says perez is making fun of this, he only posted a link to cnn, and second this man should be put to death on this, i cant believe someone could do this to his own flesh and blood, and for his wife not to know anything, thats hard to believe as well. He definitely should suffer the way his daughter did all these years, and its not just the rape, but to be confined into one space all those years, its like she was punished for something she had no control over, and those poor kids, its just a sin, there going to have to deal with this the rest of there life, and no matter how much therapy they will receive its never going to be enough.       this definitely dont make sense because for one there saying elisabeth's mom didnt know anything about the kids and daughter being in the basement, but what happened to the three children that were found on the doorstep, did they live upstairs with the father and his wife, or did they get stored in the basement as well, because if the kids were in the basement, then she would of known (grandmother/stepmom/mom) or did they live upstairs and have a normal life. I think this might be bullshit, she should of known something that was on the go.

I'll remind you (as another poster did too), this is the second such story in Austria in the last year!       This is the saddest story i ever read. Every day i read more and more details and is even worse. I can´t take this story of my mind.
      This monster should get the worst punishment.
