More Runway Drama!!!

The Project Runway dramz never ends!!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the production duo who've been attached to the show from the beginning, Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz , are opting NOT to follow Project Runway to Lifetime.

Ohhh shiz!!!!

The duo have just signed an exclusive overall first-look deal with NBC Universal, Bravo's parent company, to produce new broadcast, cable and digital properties. As part of the deal, the two will finish producing the current fifth cycle of Project Runway for Bravo, but will leave the show rather than produce a sixth cycle at Lifetime.

Sadness!

NBC insiders cite the long-standing relationship between the show's producers and NBC as key to the deal. The two also produce Bravo's Top Chef, Step It Up and Dance and Top Design AS WELL AS NBC's Last Comic Standing.

We wouldn't leave a cash cow either!

NBC Universal also announced Monday it has filed a request for a preliminary injunction to prevent the Weinstein Co. from marketing and promoting the show on Lifetime.

We're just hoping that all this crazy drama won't fuck the show up for you fans out there!

      I really don't care what channel PR runs on, I WILL watch it no matter what!! That being said with all the dramz happening I have a warning for the powers to be. DO NOT FUCK WITH THE FORMULA!!! Air the show wherever you want!!!

      I will NOT be following the show to Lifetime with out these producers. I want the whole awesome package, not some water down version of it. Perez you've got the power, let's start a boycott or campaign: If Runway goes to Lifetime the biggest fans will run away from Runway. We can bombard them with emails.

      They are about to ruin this show and once you ruin it you cant recapture the magic. Ugh. Makes me so mad. Its like Trading Spaces on TLC. They messed with the formula and ruined it and even tho they brought back Paige Davis this year and tried to go oldschool, it still isnt working. Bleh. Tv Execs are the biggest clueless idiots. They never give us what we want.
