Jason Priestly revealed in a recent interview that he'd be up for reprising Brandon Walsh for 90210 (2.0) but the new producers haven't been in touch!
What are they thinking??? They need to bring back the entire original cast, well, except Andrea. She was the boring one!
Priestly is quoted as saying, "I'm certainly open to it. I loved working on that show. I loved everything I did on that show. I had so many jobs on that show, I loved it so."
We'd rather see Shannon Daugherty back as Brenda, though, if we were forces to pick. We love dramz and you know she'd bring the crazy to the set of 90210 (2.0)!
Priestly also reveals that Dancing With the Stars just isn't his cup of tea. N-O to appearing as a contestant…he won't follow in the footsteps of 90210 alums Ian Ziering and Jennie Garth.
In this case, we'd rather see Shannon over Jason as well!
We could see Shannon pulling some Tonya Harding shit to win.

The stupid producers probably think he's too old. If they don't bother to put some, if not all, of the original players (I agree with another poster that Andrea's too boring and I didn't understand why she was on the original in the first place), its going to tank. Putting a bunch of young no-talent actors on this show is going to make it just another stupid rip-off of OC or some other lame show that featured a bunch of youngsters who look good but can't act.

Of course he looks yummy. He's Canadian. What's with the bags under the eyes, though? Still residual pain after that big race track car crash? That may be why he declined the 'Dancing With the Stars' thing, although it would probably go a long way towards helping in his rehab if he could get through the first few weeks. Those dancers are probably fit for a year after doing that show. It's incredibly rigorous while probably exhilarating simultaneously.

I would love to see Shannen back too and Jason on the new show….not Jennie Garth! Shannen and Jason were the OG stars of that show unitl Jennie got everyone against Shannen and ended up being the star of the show who got the guy, etc. It was not the same when Brenda left…..And yes Andrea was boring, so if they do bring her back she should be trashy.
