It's kinda hard to tell, but we think that Allegra Versace is looking healthier.

She is wearing a tent, though, so we're not sure!

Either way, it's nice for her to go out and be social.

Donatella's daughter has been bravely battling anorexia for years.

The young Versace and her mom attended the Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC on Monday night.

Very pretty dresses, even the tent!

      Love Met Museum of Art. Yes, a little heavier but it's hard to tell in that balloonish dress. The color is pretty. The mom looks like a tranny. Rich fucks.

      She is soooo beautiful in a Madonna Statue way….She is so lucky to have the gorgeous Italian features.. I still pray she will gain some weight. Donatella looks healthy and sexy because she has curves!!! I hope her daughter will realize how beautiful her mother's curves are!!! Always,

      She's not any heavier and she is intentionally wearing thick and heavy fabrics to appear heavier. If you pay attention, you'll see her hip-bone and concave stomach through the taffeta, which is not a good sign.

      Oh…I HOPE she gets well soon! She does look better. And Donatella….she has a ROCKIN shape! Now, if I could only afford their line. Oh….and do they make real girl size 12? Some designers don't. I saved up and went to Prada…to treat myself….I was SOOOO bummed out that their biggest size did not come close. Boo! I am 5'11 and solid size 12. Not fat, just average.       Donatella's dress is beautiful, however the effect is spoiled from the neck up by her scary plastic surgery ridden face. Those lips!!!!! Her daughter is still very thin but looks better than in older photos. I guess the dress is designed not to draw attention to her thinness. All the best to her in her battle with her health and anorexia. I've been there myself, and it can be beaten.

Why is there still such a stigma surrrounding mental illness? Anorexia has the highest death rate (10%) of any mental illness. She is fighting a battle to maintain her health against an insidious and debilitating mental illness, which could result in her death. Yes, she is a brave young woman, even though her battle is personal. Let's hope you nor any of your loved ones ever have to face the prospect of a mental illness. But maybe that would be the only way you could understand the courage shown by people whose minds are not always working in their best interests. Go Allegra!

      Perez I love you, but I must correct you. No one "bravely battles Anorexia"! It's a choice. An Eating Disorder is not a disease. You can't catch it. It's a learned disorder. You aren't born with it. In Allegra's case… it was only a matter of time when that girl would develop some sort of disorder or another. Look at the industry her mother is in and how she herself handles it. Don't be surprised if a few of the learned habits Allegra required came directly from her mother. And yes I speak from experience which is why I can comment.
