The themes are TERRIBLE…performance nights have become a way for artists to hawk their new CDs…I mean honestly…the songs of Mariah Carey and Neil Diamond? Please. What happened to the days when contestants were tested in a battery of legitimate musical genres? And what's the deal with results shows? Droning on…and on…and on…for an hour to wait until the last 5 minutes of the show? Don't get me wrong, I always enjoy the group number and Ford commercials, but having people phone in to ask the most idiotic questions I've ever heard? Give me a break. No, I decided last week after Brooke got voted off that I would no longer be watching Idol. It's become a popularity contest and a sideshow and I really don't associate it with musical talent any longer.

And Ryan Seacrest is a fucking fag (no offense to the gays!) and really needs to realize that insulting Simon, and never letting him speak got old after season 2. So, they just need to do a better job next time with their contestants, and their lack of personality.
