Orange Oprah was named one of the Top 20 Moms in Long Island by the 'Mingling Moms' organization.
You know, cuz she did such a great job with Lindsay.

I live on Long Island, and I think that that award was ridiculous. The other moms deserved their awards (Baldwin, Joel, etc.). As a Long Island Mom, I think that she is just "South Shore White Trash."

I live on Long Island, 15-20 minutes away from the Lohan house. they live in Merrick, my sister is actually Dina and Ali's waitress when they go to the Grand Lux Cafe in Garden City. My sister says they aren't bad people, but me on the other hand i am disgusted this woman got the award. This is the first time they did this but i feel they just want to get all the celebs in one room type of thing. my news station News 12 said that even JLO got an award b/c shes a celebrity mom. hellooooo she JUST became a mom like 2 months ago, what has she proved to Long Island since she's only lived here for a few months. I'm from Long Island and I'm totally ashamed. I've always said that LI lives in a bubble and this just proves me right.
I go to the same hair salon as Dina & Ally (shout out to Maximus in Merrick!) and one girl getting her hair done next to me was telling me how she was out with her parents one night and a very drunk Dina Lohan came over to their table (PTA buddies, I guess) and started hitting on her dad in front of the whole family, laughing and trying to sit on his lap. Totally mortifying.
Someone needs to call CPS on these mingling moms. Didn't Michael Lohan say he wanted Dina drug tested and Alli begged him not to? If true Mingling moms rewards a woman that uses one childs money to buy her drugs and another child to hide it. What is really going on with this group?

Lindsay wanted to act. Her mom helped her achieve her dreams, millions of dollars, and Lohan was at the top of the Disney ladder, and A list for her age group. It's not the mom who acted out, and kids that age think they know everything when they have that much money and clout, and the things moms say to you go in one ear and out the other if it doesn't suit them at the time. You know it's true. The woman looks great for her age, and is an astute businesswoman on top of it. She's highly under rated, and has suffered unfairly due to some of Lindsay's past actions.

Outrageous! I am a single mother who last year took my daughters dad off life support. I just finished nursing school and am working 12 hour shifts at night. Our insurance was cancelled because I guess I make too much money now. I now pay 300 a month for health insurance. All she has done is pimped out her kids for money and has contributed nada towards society. Long Island needs to pull their heads out of their ASSES!!!!!

I was born and raised in Glen Cove (on Long Island). I now currently reside in Queens AND THANK GOD MY BOYFRIEND TALKED ME INTO MOVING! It was the best decision I made. Long Island is a boiling pot…not for diversity, but for FAILURE. Everyone knows everyone, and everyone is trying to stab someone in the back. It's a land of perfectly manicured lawns and flawless faces, but behind closed doors is chaos and betrayal (unless you're in Brentwood or Hempstead, then all the family baggage is all out on the street and everyone looks like a fucking hoodrat)
Lindsay used to play against my school in basketball right before The Parent Trap craziness happened and although I sucked at basketball and never played it, I heard she was a bitch to everyone.
Basically, "Mingling Moms" just gave awards to the celebrity moms of Long Island…but honestly, instead of trying to make headlines and become "famous nobodies", they should have really given credit to where it was due. Now they need to disband their little group and go on with their country club, sheltered lives.
