The Project Runway drama continues…offscreen!

Fashion Week Daily reports that Nina Garcia is close to being named some big wig title at Marie Claire magazine.

Yay, a job! Good for Nina!

So, Nina's Project Runway panel spot may NOT be up for grabs, should she score the Marie Claire job!!

Remember, we mentioned earlier this week that Marie Claire will probably be Project Runway's magazine partner once it moves to Lifetime.

Also, isn't it a funny coinkydink that Heidi Klum graces the cover of the new Marie Claire?

Funny coinkydink or is it all part of a Weinstein grand plan?!?

      you keep reporting on shows nobody is watching Perez! the most watched show on TV is AMERICAN IDOL and nothing else comes close. idol is really the only show worth reporting on.

      Sometimes Heidi Klum pays me to stick variously sized cucumbers and melons up the gaping hole that is her vagina. She moans and then squirts her "stuff" all over my face, which I then make her suck off with a straw. It smells of tuna and rosemary.       Hmmm…this could actually be good. Marie Claire is a better read than Elle but not as great at covering fashion, Nina could change that. If Nina is involved I'd buy Marie Claire more often.

      That Heidi Klum has really, really closed-set eyes…and every time I see a picture of her she looks like she needs a good scrubbing. There's something about her that is really wrong. Hmm. Really.

      I love Marie Claire. is an amazing magazine with really good articles. is the kind of magazine that you do not want to throw away just because of the valuable articles it has. I cannot believe that Project Runway is moving to lifetime, what a change! Lifetime is quite a boring network so maybe it needs Project Runway to give it a little spice. I think that Marie Claire will really benefit a lot from Nina's contribution. So, I am suscribing to the magazine.

      I hope so! I subscribed to marie claire from the beginning and when the last editor came on, they completely destroyed the magazine. I cancelled my subscription immediately. Turn it around Nina!

      Cleo Glyde, the previous Creative Director at Marie Claire, left in January 2008 and has yet to be replaced. I bet they name Nina the next creative director. I really don't see Tracy Taylor, the Fashion director, going anywhere. It works out for Nina because reports said she was neglecting her job at Elle. In a position such as Creative Director you are given a little bit more freedom to pursue other projects.

      PS. Marie Claire is a women's issue magazine- not a fashion magazine..I doubt the match up between MC and Project Runway will work. The MC fashion department is a mess to begin with! This is going to be a traaaaaaiiiiin wreck!!!!

      I agree with Fashion Enthusiast…But maybe the draw of Project Runway will boost sales dramatically since knowing that I, a magazine addict and the only monthly I DON'T purchase (even in a true binge) is Marie Claire, AND a huge Project Runway enthusiast, that anything that has PR on the cover then I'm going to buy it and the same for the Lifetime Channel…which I loathe. And whoever Weinstein is….or what the reference to is (I'm alittle behind) he sounds temporarily brilliant…well done but I also disapprove. (Bravo & Elle are great!!)

      I think this Marie Claire looks strangly familiar to one Victoria Beckham did a few months back. I think it was Elle mag. But the outfit is crazy similar.
