Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons filed for divorce back in 2006, though claim they had been separated for some time before.
Fast forward over two years later and the divorce case is still ongoing!
According to their legal papers, the couple is splitting due to "irreconcilable differences."
This Tuesday, Simmons filed a response to his former wife's divorce petition in a Los Angeles court.
Simmons is seeking for joint physical and legal custody of his daughters with Kimora. The girls are 8 and 5.
But, in Kimora's divorce filings this March, she requested that Russell get only "reasonable child visitation" and is "to be accompanied at all times by the children's nanny and security personnel."
WTF? Since when does a father need to be accompanied by a nanny AND security?
Unless he's a threat to the child.
Is that what Kimora is suggesting? Why else wouldn't she allow joint or unsupervised custody.
Both Russell and Kimora are also asking the court to deny spousal support for the other.
Things are about to get ugly!

Honestly, I have to agree with (Blare) on this one. With the exception of some of the money she had prior to meeting Russ. SHe wouldn't have none of the shit she has now if it wasn't for him. The supervision part is perplexing considering how she portrays him on her show. Like, he is so loving and such a good dad, not on drugs, and involved in every aspect of their life. I don't know either of them personally, but from what each of them presents to the media, those girls are going to be IMPOSSIBLE if she has sole custody. From her show, Russell and Kimora seem to be getting along just fine. He has stepped down at Phat Farm and put her in charge, so things must not be that bad. They seem to be SUPER protective of those girls, I saw Russell on his brothers show (Run's House) where he said his girls would need security to spend the night at his own brothers house. So I think this story is much to do about NOTHING!
