How 'Bout Them Balls?

Coldplay has agreed to team up with ESPN to help promote their broadcast of the upcoming European Championship soccer tournament.

The supergroup's tunes from their new release, Viva La Vida, will be featured in the tourney's promo spots.

Soccer matches start on June 7th.

This dovetails nicely with Viva La Vida's drop date, June 12th.

We're looking forward to seeing lots of pix of the hotness that is Cristiano Ronaldo, who'll be playing for Portugal.

It's really too bad that England didn't make it into the tourney — no David Beckham!!!
