I dated a guy who was 32 when I was 20. It didn't seem like a big deal to me. We got a long. Had a good time together. We met because we went to the same college. We were from the same part of Canada.
It's been 12 years since I was 20 & now that I am older I still don't see anything wrong with the relationshop we had.
I don't think this guy is a Perv just because he is dating a younger lady. He's only a Perv if he is only dating her because she is 19.
If there is more to their relationship than that… she's legal & there isn't anything wrong with it.

Thats not a big deal. My husband and I have a lengthy age difference…he's 43 and I'm 22. He is a great husband, and we love each other a great deal, age is more of a number than anything. If anything, we pick on each other about how he was in college when I was born and such.

I was married for almost 3 years to a guy who was three years older than me and my current boyfriend is more mature than him. Age is nothing but a number and I think they look together anyway. Its up to them to make it work.

My boyfriend of the last 3.5 years is 35 and I'll be turning 23 in about a week. He acts and looks younger and I act and look older, I'm a responsible adult who didn't feel like wasting time with 20 year olds who didn't have a career, partied all the time, were infants at the whole relationship thing.
Of course we both hesitated because of the age difference, but why be so concerned about what other people think? They don't have to live our lives or even be our friends, we deal with the consequence of our decisions and so far that's been a quality relationship with common goals and mutual respect for one another.
I'm not upset with the people who think it's wrong, if I had been 14 and him 26 I'd be singing the same tune as them. But as a 19 year old who had lived on her own for 2 years, had a career, paid her own bills, voted, I think the right to choose her partner should go along with it.
