We gotta give her props. Nicole Richie definitely is a changed woman!

The first-time mom has toned down her hard-pAArtying ways and embraced being domestic.

Nicole's also been "giving back."

Richie and babydaddy Joel Madden started a foundation for children, and on Thursday the pair hit up the Neighborhood Resource Center in South Central Los Angeles.

It's good that Nicole is good these days but….

We need a new bad girl (besides Amy Winehouse)!

I think Nicole has set a good example that others should follow. Not only is she embracing motherhood as she should, she and Joel are giving back as you say, not to mention she looks radiant these days. Let's encourage her to stay that way. Britney deserves credit too for coming to terms with her life. We are all guilty of stupid things we've done in our past, we can't go back and change them. But we can focus on our futures. Stay strong young ladies. You are human too.

I was a huge fan of her as a fuckup and am still a huge fan of hers. She's amazing, and funny and has always been my favorite of the Hilton/Richie duo. I'm so happy she's getting her life together. I know personally, it was my kids who saved me…otherwise I would still be out doing what I know is wrong for me. Kids=perspective.
And PS - I hated Good Charlotte until she starting dating Joel - now I think they're tops!

Her mean spirit was evident when she appeared on America's Next Top Model with Paris Hilton and at a pool party, she asked one girl who she didn't like and then, made a beeline to that girl and said: 'XYZ thinks you're a bitch.'
