Nick Hogan is going behind bars!

The 17-year-old was sentenced by a judge in Florida on Friday in his tragic car crash case and he will begin serving time immediately.

The Hulkster's son plead no contest to reckless driving and this is the price he has to pay:

- 5 Years Probation
- 8 Months in Jail
- 500 Hours of community service, no buyout available
- 3 Years of Drivers License suspension
- No alcohol for 5 years
- DUI school completed within the first year of probation
- Paying court costs.

Update: Hogan's lawyer is saying that "Nick's happy" with the sentencing.

      What a pitiful sentence.

You are all stupid. Nick didn't want nor did he take daddys help. he stood up and took his punishment like a man without throwing hisself on the courts mercy. John and Nick had been friends for years and this wasnt the first night they did this. it was just a unfortunate series of events they went way harder on him than neccessary John is just as much at fault here as nick

what do you mean "No alcohol for 5 years" ? How old is he, 17, 18? He shouldn't be drinking anyway.

Well, I am not going to bash Nick or any other of the Hogans. It is, has been, and will be a tragedy that many will have to live with for a long time. Immature choices were made..choices were made available that should not have been…I really do hope that from this day forward Nick is letting this be a very important life lesson…Choices…Options…we have them..Choose wisely.

Goodness, if this was a black celebrity's child - most of you people on here would want them to hang this person. Being white in America is the greatest. This poor white boy will not serve half of his time. He will serve it in a minimal security prison with NON-violent offenders. All these rape comments are laughable. The problem is his parents encouraged this behavoir. This young fool was arrogant, not remorseful and only claimed responsibility when he showed up in court. But you people make out like he is some freaking hero.

i am glad that nick has the balls to stand up for what he did, knowing full well that what he did was wrong. he is showing the other reckless drivers that this is what happens when you drive drunk. good for him for pleading no contest and taking his sentence like a man!

… I'm proud of the kid. He took it like a man instead of trying to get out of the situation. How many kids do you know his age would do the same? If they had rich parents, like he does, they would have plea-bargained down to nothing and/or denied culpability entirely. Looks like there's hope for the children of celebutards after all.

      318

8 months in jail - a joke- perhaps life behind bars is more realistic. In some countries, he would have been sentenced to death! His father should be behind bars for providing alcohol to a minor - a crime as well.

      Our justice system is skewed!

I think Nick got off lightly, as a mother i would have hoped he would have gotten at least 18 months in jail, given his record of reckless/dangerous driving. Having watched the show nick seems like a nice kid and i hope he has learned his lesson. I think Brooks behaviour was a disgrace and came as no surprise, cant stand the girl. Can you possibly imagine if the situation had been reversed and Nick was the one in a vegitative state the Hogans would be calling for the drivers blood!!!! They should now SHUT UP, EXCEPT the lucky break Nick has had and show some RESPECT for Johns family.

      325

I feel bad for him, i do. It sucks to be young and have fucked up your life like that…i mean how many of YOU have done something STUPID when you were 19, 20 years old? Yea pretty much everyone, except you were lucky enough not to get caught or hurt someone. So really, you can't sit and judge another young person who did something stupid. So thats why i feel bad.

That said, he DID fuck up and really hurt someone (plus i HATE when people drink and drive) so a punishment is just. Hopefully he'll learn his lesson.

    26. Katarina says – reply to this

      326

He didn't pull any bullshit legal moves to drag this out for years, he stood up like a man said I screwed up, I hurt my best friend, do w/me as you see fit, Im at your mercy……. how many other famous kids would of done the same ? Mommy and daddy didn't pull strings, to get him out of it, they stood there said … we will take what you say is just and fair. A lot more famous and regular citizens should take a look at this. I was a bit taken aback when his friends step brother basically put out for a hit on Nick saying … if he should die in jail.. so be it I wouldn't mind. I thought in a way that was gettin a message behind bars to harm Nick.

      Agreed.

Stop adding fucking #1, 2, 3, etc to this goddamn board.

Hulk charged? Ha! He has more lawyers than God.

Linda a "nice lady/family". She's a white trash piece of dirt trying to take all of Hulk's money (not that he deserves it).

Nick lucky for getting 8 months? Are you high? It should be a year.

Brook sweet and innocent? Haaaaahaaaaa have you seen her ass-less pants,
belly shirts, heavy make-up, and overall hoochin' it around town?? Innocent? What dictionary are you using.

The rest of you: I agree, Nick's a spoiled little brat.

God some of you are fawking stupid.

Re: Amanda – well most caring family members wouldn't allow their 17 year old son to be driving drunk and racing in the first place and do i think he's sorry? no. becasue when you're sorry you're not bragging on your myspace page about endorsments and still racing cars, he should've been there almost everyday by his so called best friends side! if this accident didn't happen he'd still be racing and driving drunk

    33. BB says – reply to this

      333

Geez people, the guy pleaded guilty - didn't try to fight it, was more than apologetic to the family and seemed like he meant it, it was his best friend, I'm sure he's sorry. It's not like he set out to kill someone on purpose, obviously he could have done things different. Sure wouldn't want you assholes on my jury.

    34. man-love prison experience says – reply to this

      334

I'm sure Nick Hogan will get to experience some of that prison's man-love. He will be takin it up the rump and who knows, when he comes home he might audition for the Queer Eye For The Straight Guy (if you know what i mean). What i'm tryin ta tell you here, is that nick will probably become gay in prison after all that man-love
