Today (Friday) is a big court day for alleged child molester R. Kelly.
Jury selection for his much talked-about trial starts today.
And, the judge could rule on the defense's request to delay the trial (AGAIN), which we mentioned earlier in the week will likely fall on its face.
Also, the Chicago Sun Times reports that an R. Kelly aide had previously payed off the prosecutor's key witness — the threesome woman from Atlanta (we told y'all about her last week), who prosecutors claim can prove that the young girl Kelly had sex with in that infamous video was indeed underage at the time.
The Atlanta woman apparently was in possession of ANOTHER Kelly sex tape that featured the singer, the alleged child molestation victim and HERSELF engaged in a threesome and that a Kelly aide paid her an undisclosed amount in exchange for said tape.
The paper reports that at some point after the Atlanta woman's dealings with Kelly's aide, prosecutors became aware of her and decided to make her a witness in the case involving the prosecution's tape. Her testimony could prove valuable, because the Kelly's lawyers plan to argue that the alleged minor on that tape is not who prosecutors say she is. The girl, now a woman in her 20s, denied before a grand jury that she was involved and might testify as a defense witness at trial.
Justice better be served in this trial!!!!!

Molesters create Molesters! R Kellys' family members raped him when he was a child, HE was in THERAPY for this. The victims almost always become victimizers.
My cousin got in trouble for having sex with his 16 year old girlfriend and he was only 18. The girl's mother even testified that her daughter was chasing him but they put him on the sex offender list. It is not fair. I have no sympathy for R. Kelly. He was a grown man and she was just a little girl. He should not be able to buy his way out of this.
My cousin is black and a handsome young gentleman who deserved a break but didn't get it. If the 16 year old girl had been black it would have been a different story but it should be the same penalty regardless.

Maybe the "victim" says it's not her because R. Kelly sent his goons after her to keep her quiet. I guess if we saw the video we'd all be able to tell who is who.
