I like Carson Daly, actually, but maybe they just wanted to keep the humor the same? I think that Carson's too jaded and sarcastic. He approaches everything so negatively, which is what I like, but I'm pretty sure most of the American population doesn't. He's not exactly a bright, goofy presence like Conan.

I don't like Jimmy, but his manic style is so similar to Conan's, I'm almost positive that they just wanted to make the change as painless for the viewers as possible.

They should keep Conan O'Brien where he is and bring back Arsenio Hall and hire him as host of the Tonight Show. Then the circle is complete and the Justice of the Unicorn is preserved. Remember, Arsenio on Fox was the main reason Johnny Carson had to go and Leno got picked up. Besides, Conan isn't funny and Fallon is more shotgun than driver.

And the writers on that show most definitely do suck… the arabic looking dude who does the escalator segments? c'mon, shit is PAINFUL to watch. i learned what empathy meant by watching those segments.
