Get Down at Fraggle Rock!

Kids of the 80's, you'll be stoked to hear this news!

The Weinstein Co. is going to turn Fraggle Rock into a live-action musical movie!

Super fun!

A new generation will get to dance their cares away and worry another day.

According to Variety, just like the series, the film will be populated by a mix of human characters and Fraggle Rock puppets. The pic will take the core characters Gogo, Wembley, Mokey, Boober and Red outside of their home in Fraggle Rock, where they interact with humans, which they think are aliens.

Stay tuned for the release date and more deets!

omg …. this is a real "squee" moment for me …. I love the fraggles I have em on DVD… when i was in grade 12 my media class went to the cbc and they has the opening themes from all the shows they aired and when fraggle rock came on we all clapped along and everyone felt silly when we realized we were all doing that - it was just ingrained that when the song came on you clapped along- like pavlovs dog. Imagine 20 17 and 18 years all doing that though ,it was funny
