While I like SOME of Goldfrapps music, I wouldn't say that they are the most original group out there. People can knock Madonna all they want for being inspired by what somebody else does, but the fact remains that she has done enough ORIGINAL Work that she is entitled to be inspired by others & incorporate it into what she does.
Alison needs to remember that Goldfrapp consists of 2 people….Alison & Will and not every idea that comes out of Goldfrapp is hers…..I'm sure Will has some input too…..which means she is fronting somebody elses Ideas since she is the frontwoman to the band. And I think their new albums sounds totally inspired by the Corrs so I don't think she is in a position to talk. Not to mention that when she is on stage in her panties & bra …….it's clearly a nod to Madonna.
